Come along wont you! Things are very much about to get rolling here at our home. Larry and I have had the desire for as long as we have been married to have a little piece of land and live as sustainable as possible. Raising two beautiful girls made attaining this dream difficult but we would have never wanted it any other way. We did however raise them as close to this lifestyle as possible without removing them entirely from society. The desire has continued to grow stronger than ever. And now with them both married and living happily as grown adults we are stepping out in faith that Yashua will see us through to the end. Our home is still on the market and praying for a quick sale this spring. We have moved from our large home to the very very tiny home on the same property. Winter is proving difficult not living in the big home. We have all of our married lives heated with wood and am now heating with a pellett stove until we get the cabin up and running. I truely miss the wood heat but know it wont be but this winter only. Most of our livestock has been moved to our daughters home where they can be settled until we get more adjusted. We have kept one milking goat and added two hogs here to this home. The hogs will definately be butchered before we make the leap. And the goat that is here will more than likely go with us no matter what kind of shelter we may have for her. Here I hope to journal my days. Whatever they may be full or empty of. Something to look back on when things have settled.
Be well,
Lisa
